Drilling off Tayatena BridgeTayatena bridge collapsed during a flood in 2009. When the bridge was scheduled to be rebuilt an extensive geotechnical program had to be done to strengthen the bridge for the next floods. One bank was too steep for the rig to go down, so we drilled through the deck to the new embankment level. This involved casing off 6m of air under the bridge.
