Stacpoole Enterprises have some versatile small drilling rigs including two helicopter portable rigs which can be mounted on a Bombardier tracked carrier which can drive almost anywhere.

Bombardier Carrier

Our Bombardier carrier can take 50m of NQ rods, the rig and hydraulic units and a drilling pump in one self contained unit.  This rig has worked on protected Button Grass Plains, drilling a pattern of exploration holes near Balfour in the North West of Tasmania.  The Bombardiers' light weight and large track area resulted in very low impact to the vegetation on the ground, and the rig only needs to be refuelled once a week.

Our helicopter mounted rigs have also worked in isolated areas around Zeehan in the West of Tasmania for the development of ... mine.
